Sunja's Space:
~ September 22, 2008
Well, I think it's become clear that updates are being decreased to only ONCE per week. XD No matter how hard Chelsea or I work, it seems that one page is all we can handle in conjunction to school and the whatnot.
The long term plan to eventually get ahead enough that we can go back to two updates a week.
Anyhoot, this last weekend was pretty great. Meeting people from online can sometimes be a really great experience...and in this case, this last weekend was a blast. I was able to experience a Mormon service, which was really neat, too. ^_^ Yay for new experiences! I also went ot hte Renaissance Fair again, and I bought a Gothic Psaltery--handcrafted by Wayne Gaydos. It's SO PRETTY!!!!!!!

So as this is (hopefully) going up, I will be spending time with extra cool peeps. They came from the internet! I'm quite sure we'll have oodles of fun, especially when we all head off to Renfest this Saturday.
So, in general things are going well. Sunday was interesting... there was a storm (the blow off from Ike), in both the literal and metaphorical sense. I thought it was fitting. It blew a lot of shit around, knocked over trees and the like-- and I drove in it, too. I was fighting the wind for control of my car at some points >.> not fun.
Another highlight of my week thus far has been the decision
to disband the guild in World of Warcraft that Sunja and I
have been leading for more than two years now (the guild was started April 16, 2006). We've known since the summer that the guild was going to end, and we had an elaborate plan for its ending, but we realized that actually gathering the time, energy, and resources to do so much just for it to end was nearly impossible. I'm hard pressed to draw 2 comic pages a week amongst school and all the activities I'm in, and Sunja's doing more than me. Regardless, the guild (the
Revolutionaries) will always hold a special place in my
heart, as will the server I now plan to leave. I've had
some great memories (and some not so great) over the past
two years, and I feel it's helped me learn a lot, not only about other people, but about myself. I've met some really awesome, awesome people (two of which are visiting now--yay!) and I can honestly say that I don't regret any of it-- not even it ending. We didn't go out like other guilds, amongst a flood of drama; it was simply our time, and we've left. I plan to continue to play WoW at least for a bit; not sure what will happen when the expansion comes out, but that's to be contended with later.
So (this is turning into a huge blog post, wow) about the page... I enjoyed drawing this one, what with Zeta's perpetual scowl and even messier hair than usual. Oh, and I got to play a lot with the order of how this is read-- it's not the usual left to right kind of deal (mostly). I hope the order of the bubbles is solid enough that you can read through it without being confused. Feedback is GREATLY appreciated on our forums on stuff like this, by the way.
